Deleting Your MatchWell Account
Last updated: September 11, 2026
MatchWell, by SeMo Lab, can be played entirely offline and does not require an account. One is created only if you switch on cloud save or publish a score to the global leaderboard. If you have never done either, there is nothing on our server to delete.
In the app
Open Settings and choose Delete account. Confirm when asked, and enter your backup password if you have cloud save switched on. Deletion happens immediately — there is no waiting period and no recovery, so only do this if you are sure.
If you no longer have the app installed
Email info@semo-lab.com from any address, telling us your player name. We will delete the account and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
Everything our server holds about you, permanently:
- Your leaderboard entry — player name, stars, completed levels, medals, endless scores and moves.
- Your cloud save — the saved game and the stored hash of your backup password.
- Any multiplayer rooms you created, and your place in anyone else's room.
- The random install ID and device key your entry was tied to.
It all goes in a single step, so nothing is left behind pointing at an account that no longer exists. Your player name becomes free for someone else to take.
What is kept
Your game progress stays on your own phone. Deleting the account removes what is on our server; it does not erase the game you have been playing. If you want to clear that too, use Reset All Progress in Settings.
Our server keeps routine access logs, which record IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. These rotate automatically and are deleted after about two weeks. They are not linked to your player name and are not used for anything else.
Nothing else expires on its own: leaderboard entries and cloud saves are kept until you delete them.
